WATERDOG OBEDIENCE TRAINING
We customize our programs to you and your dog regardless of which training package you purchase. We work on any and all behavioral issues including biting, barking, jumping, aggression (limited), submission, hyperactivity, housebreaking and other issues. The obedience portion of the program teaches your dog to sit, heel and come to here on command. In our boarding training programs, we also work on commands like kennel, quiet, gate manners and others. We no longer offer group classes or private lessons because we have found that they, as a teaching forum, are far less effective than private, personal and customized boarding training. Our ultimate goal is to train dogs and make their owners happy. We have found this mission best served by private and boarding lessons. Remember that we do not train with food, which means that your dog's training will be much more effective over the long haul. We are primarily rapport based trainers, which means we use body language, tone of voice, and indirect training situations (things that you can do in your daily activity with your dog that aren't structured like formal training) to build a relationship with your dog. We use only a few tools in training. We limit the use of what we call "third party equipment" and focus primarily on our tone of voice and body language. After all, our final goal is to NOT need ANY equipment when we work and play with our dogs. COMPARE OUR PRICES AND RESULTS WITH OTHER TRAINING FACILITIES!
