The single page website offer was designed for one of two purposes... For people who want to get on the web right away and want a quick page to get started. Or for people who don't need or want an expansive website. The guidelines for the single page website are as follows:
Payment and site content (all pictures and text) are due before work on the site is commenced.
You are welcome to submit your personal suggestions and comments for the design of the site, but final decisions related to design of the site are the authority of black dog marketing. We will work as much as possible in the time we have to design to your specifications.
You will have one final edit and revision once we have your draft completed. Your final revision is due within seven days of our completed draft. Please use this time to review your one page site carefully. This edit and revision is for minor spelling and/or placement issues only and not a complete rework of the page.
Clients must provide their own hosting location (the place where your website will be saved so that the rest of the world can access it on the internet). For free hosting services, we recommend Yahoo Geocities (http://www.geocities.com). You may want to check with your email provider to see if they provide web space with your email or internet account.
If you would like to purchase a domain name (www.yourwebsite.com), we recommend purchasing it through Verisign -- http://www.verisign.com. We also use and recommend MyDomain -- http://www.mydomain.com -- for domain management. Using MyDomain, you can forward your domain to your free hosting service, if you've selected free hosting for your option. You can also set up free email forwarding and other domain services. We will be glad to guide you through the process of setting up the technical aspects of your new website.
